New MI initiative brings firms together
Bucharest was the location for the Morison International (MI) Eastern European meeting on 3 November 2011.
This event was part of a new initiative to bring member firms together who share an interest in a specific region. The meeting allowed firms to discuss how they can work together and develop more business in Eastern Europe.

Representation in Cameroon established
Morison International (MI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Fidit Conseil SA who will represent the association in Douala, Cameroon.
The firm was established in 1986 and has 20 employees based in Douala, the commercial capital of the country.

250 attendees gather for celebratory conference
Singapore welcomed a record breaking number of attendees to the joint Morison International (MI) and Morison International Asia Pacific (MIAP) conference! The event was held at the magnificent Marina Bay Sands hotel, 7-9 October and coincided with the 25th anniversary of Paul Wan & Co, MI’s long-standing member firm in Singapore.
Popular sessions included a case study from Sudhir Kumar (Morison Menon, UAE) on “Successful Firm Marketing”; a highly entertaining and informative client presentation on “Working with MI Member Firms”; new member firm presentations; common interest groups and an update on MI’s “Technical Roadmap” initiative.

Marks Paneth & Shron LLP (MP&S), the 30th largest firm in the US, has joined Morison International (MI) and will represent the association in New York, Connecticut and northern New Jersey.

Morison International Africa (MIA) annual conference
Tanzania was the location for the Morison International Africa (MIA) annual conference held on 8-9 September 2011.
The 2 day conference was hosted by member firm Tanna Sree Kumar at the idyllic eco-chic Sadaani Safari Lodge. Discussions focused on how MI’s African member firms could leverage each others local connections, strengths and international clients for their mutual advantage. Paul Wan led a thought provoking session on the opportunities created by
Chinese and Indian inward investment and Zaheeda Bashir shared her considerable insight of Best Practice Reviews.
