Dmytro Oleksiyenko was appointed as the President of the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine December 3, 2010 at a meeting of the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine (UFPAA), there was decided to appoint Dmytro Oleksiyenko as the President of the UFPAA because of illness of Mr. Golov, and his inability to fully functioning as UFPAA President.
Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine is a professional self-regulating non-profit organization established to defend the interests of representatives of the accounting and auditing professions.
UFPAA is the only organization in Ukraine, representing the accounting profession and the auditor at the international level: as it is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (International Federation of Accountants) as well as a founder and member of the Eurasian Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors.
The mission of the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine is to protect its members' interests; working-out and implementation of national standards and practices of accounting and audit based on international standards; creation of the Code of Ethics, and control over its implementation; improving of accountants’ professionalism, their image in society and the quality of services provided by them.
